harvey has just finished the identity and portfolio website for photographer david hooton. the main principle of the website is to keep the design contemporary, simple and functional, allowing the photos to talk for themselves. the website can be viewed here

aurelia and dan gave a lecture and spoke to 3rd year design students at university of gloucestershire about studio weekend yesterday. the students were kind enough to make a poster in preparation for the visit- it can be seen in the image above!

tim harbon has become the latest addition to the studio weekend team. tim's primarily an illustrator and has worked for some notable clients, namely penguin books and the guardian. we are very excited he's part of the team and look forward to working with him!

aurelia has been hard at work in the golden seed studio in stroud. the team are currently putting together visuals to pitch to investors and aurelia is the creative drive behind the project.

hot shakes milkshake company has now opened in cork! we were lucky enough to design the branding and identity for the entire shop. so, if you are ever in ireland, be sure to stop by for a hot shake! yum!

the studio have been working hard designing the first issue of we press; our very own limited edition newspaper to be avalible for free on september 15th. the issue features letterpress interviews, current projects, guest writers, profiled photographers, illustrators and design related studio weekend fun.

after working hard all week on commercial projects, harvey + hay have been keeping their creative juices alive by screen printing the backgammon 'centurian' promotional posters for the ultimate showdown between them both.

this morning we picked up some of our new promotional flyers, printed in cheltenham on 400gsm semi-gloss lovely paper. they'll be flying about all along the south-west and london in the near future.

aurelia went tolondon yesterday to meet with xavier and vivian who represent swiss magazine outfit, diary 16. aurelia has illustrations in the upcoming book and we are proud to be able to sell a limited stock of the current issue in our shop.

a big thankyou to everyone who came to the oxjam poetry night at slak on july the 1st. we raised £70 for oxfam and a great night was had by all. keep a look out for oxjam/studio we collaborated events in the near future!

aurelia has screenprinted and designed / illustrated posters to promote the hay-on-wye book festival and in aid of a new donate campaign for oxfam books in cheltenham. the poetry open mic night is on in slak on the 1st july.

the initial concepts for the new irish milkshake chain 'hot shakes' have been designed. we have been commissioned to create the full identity, print and advertising for the company in the coming months.
